District Reorganization
Are we going to be able to keep Olga Reed School open for another two years? With the declining enrollment, increase in operating costs, administrative costs, and a shrinking California State Budget the Los Alamos School Board is going to have to make some tough decisions. Come to the public meeting on Tuesday, December 14, at 7:00PM. The discussion will involve possible solutions, things to consider, and your ideas. Please come and join us in this conversation that is so important to all of us.
Walk – Thru
As part of the Program Improvement process there will be a school-wide ‘Walk-Thru’ on December 7. This walk-thru will take place during our ‘Open Court’ instructional time. Members of the team will include; David DeMille, Linda Denton, Janice Chaves, Lisa Wilkanoski, and Mr. Mann.
Winter Program
We will be having our annual Winter Program on Wednesday, December 16. We with begin our program at 6:30PM in the gym. Take your students to their classroom before coming to the gym.
School Dance
There will be a student council dance on Friday, December 10. The dance will start at 7:00PM and end at 10:00PM. The cost for the dance is $5.00 per student and students will have to have parent permission slips signed before they can attend. Students will not be allowed to leave early unless a parent picks them up at the door.
